I'll confirm that I want when numbers are up (if ever?)

2 Round port Inlet
2 Round port Exhaust

ALL FROM MILD STEEL

Also, how different are the oval vs. round port exhaust flanges?

Well I'm hoping that when we consolidate the orders from three companies to one there will be a bit of history there that they (the cutters) will do smaller orders for a good price. That's what I hoping for.....gee there's alot of 'hope' in this... Well that's what I'm trying to do, in the time that the Oval Ports are put through I'll follow up with the round ports and GX and other gear and insist that they do them for cheap, this extra time also allows for other people to submit interest.

Exhaust flanges are the same throughout the range and they have (the round port exhaust flanges) have been included in the request to the companies. I'll have to edit the list, thanks for bringing that up.

On another note; there are minor differences between each head casting this means that it that the flanges may need some cleaning up and port matching to suit their application. You'd be surprised how much an oval port Weber manifold will mis-align when you fit it without looking or feeling down the bores.

Some misalignment is acceptable due to core shift and manufacturing differences and I hope no one will be upset if they may have to spend 5 minutes with a file - its just possible some people maybe under the impression that "LASER" cut means A1 fit where as it means that all the cut flanges are pretty much identical however, the heads will differ slightly.

Besides, when I port my motor I will open up the ports evenly until they just clean up and match the flanges, then make the ports 2mm bigger for the anti reversion effect (intake) and exhasut flange 2mm bigger.

Then depending on the hole sizes they cut for the M8 studs - they should locate accurately and the flange/ports should line up good. However, if they are like the extractors I brought (used like a 11mm holes as clearance for an 8mm stud) I'll just dowel pin the flanges to the block.

Speaking of which, what size holes did you specify for them to make Chris? I'm guessing 9mm? And they were laser cut not drilled?

@ diymark there is a misalignment that tends to be see a shift in the Y axis along (laterally) the head exhaust ports [against the bolt pattern] between different heads. 11mm holes provides enough slop that you can locate the flange without having to work the holes/ports as much or not at all.

Holes are made to 11mm and standard gaskets vary between 9.5 and 10.5mm holes. Ideally they ought to be blank so you can fit it perfectly.

The exhaust ports are slightly bigger as well to accommodate the variances.

I will take that on board and have a look through the heads again to see if there is in fact a change and if there is the holes will stay the same at 11mm. If they can be reduced I will do so.

@ thedevilshands, no worries champ I'll have you on there shortly.

Guys the prices are worst case scenario, the quotes aren't ready yet from final place but he's sure they won't be any more than what they were at. So that's good, just one place to deal with.

Please, no cash just yet, will update prices by Monday/Tuesday but if you can settle for what is now up there as the worst case scenario then say so and I'll put you into green.
