Got a spare 1/2 hour after work today, so started cutting all the un-neccisary mountings off the diff. Will post up more pix as I go.

Cheers guys, Sway bar custom made, Door skins custome made as were interior door trim.

Well have shortened the R31 Housing, welded new mounts onto diff to suit leaf springs and now need to send long axle off to be shortened.

Sourced some U bolts and over half way to completing new plates for underside of spring where shock obsorber bolts on.

Also need to sort out Handbrake setup. So if anyone has a supplier for cables, let me know.

Well cant do much on diff till sort out handbrake and get axle back, so started on the front

U12 Pintarra Rotors are on with the Toyota s12+8 calipers. Its all bolted up, next step is to bleed the brakes. Ended up using the Stanza Girlock brake lines, which are a bit tight with the car jacked up, but hopefully it should be fine.

The worrying thing was the Stanza brakes I took off. The Rotor's were stuffed. Only about 70 % of the rotor had a indication of where the pads had been rubbing, and the front of the rotor has seen little work, while the back was badly scored. Not to mention they were very dull and not shiny.

Well the old Borgwarner 68 diff is out. Got a few more mods to do to the R31 diff and pickup the axle before can install it.

Bloody CA gearbox is leaking oil again, so have to have another look at whats going on there. Got a genuine gear stick boot to fit, but the non-genuine one is pretty clean so dont know what the go is with the oil leak. Have allready replaced 3 oil seals where the yoke goes in. Goin to use new yoke with the new tailshaft so maybe that will improve things.

wow great work jarrad ! ,looks the goods brake and gearbox wise ,hopefully your problems will be solved when the diff goes in ,and good to hear that it is ready to go in ,not many people can shorten a diff with out a jig ,so its a real credit to be able to say you shortened your own diff ! great work !

Got the R31 diff in the car now, hand brake cables on order and looks like need to do wheel bearings now The drivers side axle has sideways movement when bolted all into place.
