anything was better than the sunroof, except for a full length moonroof.

had a lazy couple of hours on saturday between the girlfriend going home and going to the pub to catch up with mates, so gave the wagon its final round of priming. got a decent coat of high fill on and sanded back then another coat on. so now ive just gotta get my sand on and get it smooth again, as the highfill didnt give the best finish in the world

then gotta go figure out exactly what the colour is going to be, buy about 8 litres of paint and give it some colour

not to long now

Nice progress on this little one mate. The panel work looks great so far. Have you got experience in the panel and paint game?

8 litres??? Holy crap! I've got 3 for mine, it's only a ute but even so 8 litres is a hell of a lot isn't it?

CA_1200_project ive used a spray gun before, and ive used a welder before. but i was in no way a paint of panel expert when i started this car...wasnt even a paint and panel novice
ive got no idea how to acutally get rid of dents and stuff properly and dont know that much about spray painting

but it seems to be going pretty well so far i think, but any experience i have now i pretty much got from this car
mechanical stuff is a whole different story though

armiee, ive got inside and out of the whole shell, all removable panels and the engine bay. and i'll probably be sanding most of it off
was going to get 6 litres...but it comes in 4 litre tins so figure 8 will be good
and i went through a litre of normal primer doing one coat of the engine bay and inside of the car, and it was thinned the same as what the colour will be

but really im just guessing

Well mate i think its great work with your wags. For someone with little experience i give you a high five for giving it a go and getting it right so far. Im in melbs and would love some one like yourself to help on my ute lol :P I have not a great deal of confidence along with no experience or shed space to have a crack myself.
Well mate i love your thread and good on you for having a go.
