#1 DATO DYNO TUNED TODAY
waz1200 Posted on: 2010/8/12 12:38
hey guys just got my dato dyno tuned from my mate mark at DAT it pulled 160.9 rear wheel kw's. that was just a basic tune for a fresh rebuilt ca18det. running only 9psi. ill get it retuned but a tune called matrix tune at 12 to 15 psi and mark reckons ill get around the 200kw range.. this little 1200 ute is gonna be scary.

160rwkw would be scary enough in a 1200 ute. what rear end you got in it? hope it gets traction

i done a mass burn out yesterday its that light it doesnt actually take anything off the tyres lol. so much smoke though. funny enough its 1200 diff. so see how long it lasts. but the main mods are, microtech, bigger fuel pump, malpassi fuel reg, cooler, boost controller, mostly its a standard ca18. i just rebuilt it before i put it in ay..

My 120Y has 252rwhp (185rwkw). It is basically standard plus and runs a GT28R at 15psi. It goes pretty well... that kinda power in something as light as a 1200 ute would be nuts!

To get 200rwkw you would need a decent exhaust, front mount and a T28BB/GT28R running around 17psi.

Not a bad number. See how long that diff holds up though!

Mine's still going.. although it's the bigger 120Y diff.

I have an R31 diff to go in but I'm trying to sort some other stuff out first.
