how about a hilux diff if so how hard are they to engineer and do they cost alot thanks all so i will be running a ca in the datto

hilux's are second 2 a 9'' in strength.. nearly same axels as a 9'' fitting isnt that hard cut down and new brackets made and fited with 4 stud is about 1300$.. ive decided 2 go for a mini spool set up on my hilux diff.. as same as mate bella.. Lsd's are alvailable but are hard 2 get hands on.. as for tramp kits.. DONT BOTHER they sit 2 low to the ground and look like SHlT u are better of getting your leaves reset lower like i have (flat) and leaving the bottom plate in.. only 2 diffs i would look at for 1200 ute ca18det conversion is hilux and R31

hey 2332, my bro would be very interested in talking to you as he has the 33 or 35" inch tyres and 5.3 diff ratio too, ill post a pic of his beast soon, but he was saying he could only use the lock rite with a certain type of hub (cant remember what its called) but you have to engage it by hand for 4wd, im sure you know what i mean, his concern with that is that his car has some real flash wheels with centre caps and he wont be able to use these if he converts his hubs

anyway he will have a more accurate question for you but that is his dilema, expect an email from him ok

cheers mate
