. I recently rebuilt the carb wtih a kit and now it spits out too much fuel ... it won't start

My advice is to take the carb apart, and put it back together again. It may work fine after that.

Most likely the wrong gasket was used, or it was put on backwards. So examine the gasket carefully and be sure the holes line up properly. Another possibility is that the ball-check is missing.

I live in Tennessee, USA. We used the truck for farm work. I wanted to get it running again. It was running but it used up too much gas so I decided to try to rebuild it. I also noticed that the bottom of the thing had two solid bolts and one hollow one holding it to the middle area of the carb. I put the hollow bolt where there looked like an open port but now I think that this may have been a mistake.
