must be a different one. when i can figure out how to post pics i will. picked up the donor car today, s13 ca18det. still got rego but got defected. time to get dirty and upset the missus a bit more!

Jesse, as for the sodablasting, i was at sodablast in brissy last week and had a demo from the guys. even if there is terminal rust it wont be blown away as you may think. I had a go and stripped a bmw motorbike fender, and it took top coat off then undercoat, then took a bit of bog off. I was impressed with the process and end result. They had stripped a bit of their forklift paint 3 months before i was there and it had no signs of rust.

so i pulled my finger out and got something done finally. pulled a12 motor and box out of the ute and the front bits, lights grill bumper etc. So its starting to look like a project now! Will hopefully finish tearing apart the interior and the rest of the chrome bits tomorrow. Wouldn't some pics be nice..........!

Have the front fenders been rolled? When I saw a front pic the front bottom bit of the fender which joins onto the front beaver looked a bit tweaked out?

yeah the front guards have been rolled. im gonna attempt the rears on monday to kinda suit the front. we'll see how that turns out. jesse you might be in luck with the shell. I bought a 180 today which has all the running gear in it but body is rooted. I was thinking about keeping the silvia for a drifta, but i havent really got the room for a shell to just sit here. See how it all goes. I found some rust today too, passengers side floor has bad rust and a tiny hole. Looks like it was dodged up before. And the drivers side had a harness in it at some stage. Eyelet bolts in the typical harness mount locations. Seat rails havent been tampered with, thats all factory. Anyways, just got the dash and heater to pull out oh and back window. more pics soon.
