haha well there you go, cant say that ive used other primer to be able to have a good comparison of what good paint is....but it has shat me at times

so whats a good brand? for next time

biggest favour you can do for yourself is go to a panel beaters and ask questions, once ya tell them what car you're doing up most are pretty willing to give ya some pointers. its surprising how many people love datsuns haha. just this arvo i was at a panel beaters asking!

Had a similar problem myself with some lacquer primer.

You need to make sure you mix it real well and use a strainer when loading the gun. Also make sure you don't let it sit too long in the gun or it will start to separate.

At the same time, make sure you clean the gun VERY well or you will have problems next time you load it up after it clogged.
