yeh i have been doing around 3-4 coats, might just settle for 3 with the 10 min break between them! I think i have had the thread screwed flat out now that i think of it haha.. might just be more carefull putting the 1st 2 coats on then finish with the third.. its se decieving how it looks #OOPS# to start with then flattens out!

sometime less is more and dont worry about it being amazing of the gun its all the buffing and polishing that makes the car look good lol it looks its worse sometimes after its painted you would rather a little peel than flat finish with runs or sags... cause 2000 wet paper is sooooooooooo much easier to rub and flaten peel than rub out runzzzzzz hahahah with out rubbing through the freash paint

oh 3 coats is fine to but dont make the first coat too wet and you can get too much of paint build up under all the coats and the solvents in the paint are trapped in the paintfrom previous coats so when it starts to dry out its starts to solvent boil which will destroy your job...

haha yeh im not looking forward to trying to rub those runs out i can tell you.. oh well its all in the learning experience i spose. I just have to keep drilling it into my head that the job doesnt have to be amazing off the gun.. 3 coats it is, i have been trying to make it look good on the first coat which is the problem
