Thanks Andy.

There has been a slight delay with manufacture- confusion with my payment not being cleared sooner. But they are booked into the machine as we speak will have them out to you all by next week. I'm talking to Gylezy very nicely to see if he'd be kind enough to let me use his bench drills to get the holes countersunk, so you gentleman don't have to bother with any extra work and just chuck them straight on when you get them

Ryan, unless you plan on leaving your car in out in the QLD rain, it won't be affected as much as you think. If the little fins can be bent out easy enough I can send them flat so you can adjust the bend as minimal as possible.

If you have a ute there, take off your vents and have a look behind them, there are fins/vents there as well built into the pillar.

I shouldn't have brought it up in the first place because it's easy to get paranoid about but really it's up to where you store it. The original vents are fairly good in keeping water out but they're hardly water proof.

Up to you, I've just added a couple of sets to the order as the others are almost sold out. If you want a set speak now, otherwise buy em', try em' and if you don't like them sell em'!

Hello orange-1200. Thanks for posting that.

The sets on offer here are $89.50 delivered.

This also includes the 12 stainless screws needed to fit the vents. I'm also working to have the vents countersunk but that depends on how much time I have.

Polishing is also an option. May I ask how much the polishing cost you ?(just as a comparison to the company here)

Chris

Wow, that's alot of money. I think I'd better double check the quality of the polisher here as he quoted less than 10% of what you paid to have yours polished. He was pretty vague though and I think he was only intending to polish the top face, not between the slots and underside etc. Looks like yours have had the edges cleaned up nice too.

They look great, nice work.

Hi Lads,

Sorry for no update, been flat out.

1) All items are here ready, just sorting and wrapping. I have lots of uni on at the moment so I'm trying my best to get them out tomorrow.

2) The side vents are tricky to bend but if you have access to a bench vice you'll be fine, I will put some 'how to' pictures up to help you with bending the fins out.

3) Can no longer offer polishing for cowl vents and fluted side vents (not for $30 anyway), I took them down today and the guy said 'yeah $30 for each set if you have about 10 sets' so that was crap. For the dudes that paid for polishing I will do these myself and if not I'll send them with a money order refund or cash transfer.

Here are some pictures of the items and their finished quality (click and click again for photo hugeness) custom set at the end for my ute (they're a bit grubby because I've been working on them, still haven't been polished).
