It would be nice to see some actual dyno-papers on these A-engines producing over 200hp at the fly..... I sure belive that these engines exist but I have never seen any evidence!? My friend Kimmo has probably over 200hp in his Datsun 1200 but as far as I know he has never been on the dyno, but he has done the quartermile in 11,92 and that gives you a clue......

Good night, fellows!

ruby that is 256 at the wheels and it is extremely streetable. i could not over-state how streetable it is. not sure what you know about turbos but big cams are not needed, or big heads. it is like driving an atmo... until you put your foot to the floor.

Fair enough. I cant argue with actual 1st hand knowledge.

From what I know you can make huge numbers with a big enogh turbo, but they have a habit of only making boost at the end of the rev range and it comes on suddenly, rather than a more controlled application of boost that starts a bit lower, and last longer.

Is there any chance that you could get a dyno strip?
Id love to see when the engine makes its power.

Yeah it shows the final number and you can just see the trace.

Its a pity you cant see the revs in comparasion.

By the looks of it though, there is nothing until the turbo kicks in, and then it shoots for the moon to peak hp. The big HP gain appears to be fairly steep and in a narrow range. its just apity that you cant see more.
Regardless you cant deny the numbers.

but doesnt it sound awesome when it comes on boost, surely you could built one with a smaller turbo and less boost to aim for 200-250rwhp and it would be a whole heap more usable

An A15 of 1796cc with a smaller turbo that makes boost from
around 2 and goes all the way to 6.5 would be the ultimate.
Then you really need a T5 or W series to gear it.

Hell yeah! When it comes on boost it makes such an awome sound.
A smaller turbo that comes on sooner with a wider tange would be the go.
hec 200-250hp is more than enough in reality.

I was only aiming for 120-150hp with my setup thinking that I was starting to push it. Maybe I should be aiming for 200....

wonder what torque figues that gives..

I cut my engine to pieces tonight and i´m impressed by the cylinderwall thickness! It varies from 5,5 - 7,5mm.... YES!

so with this wet sleving...

You completely remove the cyclinder walls and replace them with larger sleves for a larger bore.

Since the cyclinder walls touch in between the cyclinders (like between 3 & 4), how do you get the sleves to sit square?
Wouldnt they get in the way of each other?
IS this where you will need to bore the cylinders offset ?
