pretty sure most of the small coil that come on cars from factory are to suit electronic ignition. but you could always just pull them straight off a car to be sure

Lovely ride Matto,

you should consider using the later 7afe head,
its narrower, better inlet angled ports like a motorbike, fits
the stronger bottom end of the 4age block and Billzilla the walking
encyclopeadia of the A series toyota block recommends it as the
better head for NA and boost. If you are using distributorless ignition
it will look better also as it takes up less space.

The combustion chamber on the dual inlet port head is better but not
that the single inlet port 7afe is bad it just needs some smoothing
out of the sharp casting marks or ridges and its ready.
Bill expects 240hp with his modified 7afe NA setup.
I believe the twin port per inlet head is better for low end and
keeps the mix velocity high at all rpm ranges.

water outlets are also on the front of the 7afe as needed for rwd
just look at the differences in size of the 7afe head compared to 4age
