CAN ANYONE TELL ME THE BEST WAY TO GO ELECTRONIC IGNITION FOR AN A ENGINE? IS THERE ONE THAT WILL BOLT STRAIGHT IN? IF SO WHAT MODEL/YEAR COULD I GET ONE FROM? I HAVE ACCESS TO A MACHINE SHOP SO IF YOU HAVE EVER MADE ONE UP OUT OF TWO DIZZYS PLEASE TELL WHAT YOU USED & HOW YOU GOT ON . ANY ADVISE GREATLY APREACIATED.

Yes that is quite possible, i'm looking at doing that quite soon. Can open up spark plug gap etc.
Apparently early 80's Honda Civic or Nissan Pulsar of similar vintage. Each require different mods. One of them just requires machining of the bottom of the shaft housing. I'll try and get back to you with the specifics.
