Was looking at my front lamps today and they're pretty sorry looking.
Not sure 521s would fit too well as the 1000 park/turn lights are straight up and down at the sides, while they seem to look the closest, the angled side might make it look like dogs balls in the recess.
The Pulsar one would fit in shape...just don't know if the dimensions are right.

On the subject of front aprons...why do so many 1ks not run bumpers? Did they just never have them or is it an aesthetic choice?

Hey Leith,

Just to let you know I tried a couple of contacts today and they're out. Last time I checked they had a few spare sets (NOS) but they're all out now.

I know I have a couple of spares up in PNG but I won't be up there for a while so I can't really help you there.

GL with the trialling of the other types...knowing nissan you might just find one that suits/fits.

I think there were two maybe three different types, some for the earlier and some for the later models.

EDIT: Those steering wheels used to be OK priced but now you're lucky to get one for $700.00 or less (landed).

thanks chris much appreciated! when you get back to png hopefully i'll have some spare dosh for that grill

yea i'm gonna see what looks best no harm in trying, i've got a couple different sets ordered to fit up

i was on yahoo japan and found a kb10 steering for 400 landed (thought that was reasonable), the ones i thought that were over priced are the 510 model steering wheels they're chasing upwards of 700 without shipping

If you find one for $400 landed, I'm not sure what you're doing letting it go! That's a good price, you sure it wasn't the auction opening price?

There is one on there last week for about AUD$1000.00 not shipped.

Measured some Pulsar ones up at PickaPart Today for the front indicator/parkers. They're the right shape...just a too big :( (177x51mm)
Id definitely hazard a guess that the 521 lamps would be too big also.
Hmmm maybe its time to make a mold or two. Didn't Levey cast his own 1200 lenses a whiles back?

Hmm those Charade look promising...my cousin has one so ill measure hers next time I'm visiting if no one has access to one before.

So Im standing at stage door waiting for the rig to come down last night when I notice the marker lamps running up the length of the touring semi I was leaning against... pretty damn close for size! Did a quick search while waiting on another rig to go up this morning...found this site

6x2 combo lamp(...if that is in inches) gets us very close for fit. Might need to search further still...they do have amber and clear combo lenses but haent found any the right size/shape yet.

Sooo yeh, truck or trailer lights might be a lead?
