actually i got the bonnet off and the dint just pushed out (not perfect of course) it's got about 5kg of bog in it tho

i've got a spare that i test fitted yesterday and it's all good gotta get it sandblasted and painted

Don;t sandblast the bonnet!! I f-ed mine up a couple of years ago on my 1000 I shipped up to PNG. Lowest pressure and slightest angle and it still warped. Remember there is also heat generated from the abrasion so it will almost certainly warp.

Soda blasting maybe but in the meantime stick to stripper and sanding blocks.
