Hey hey,no frownie faces. Part of the Datsun 1200 appeal is your Dollars, Pounds, Lira, Pesos go far. One of the things the current Hot Rod crowd seems to forgotten is the idea of putting together a cool fun car for low bucks. I try to make use of what parts we stumble across for low prices. I want to put Panasports, Cormodoras or ATS wheels on my car but have yet to find them for my version of cheap..........so the Hotwires that came off one of our parts cars will likely be on the car for years. You've done what any respectable Hot Rodder would do, which is use parts that were handy, that makes the car cool as well as personalizing it.

We all wish we had big bank, but yet it is much more exciting when you create wonders with a tight budget. I've spent around $1000 bucks doing this car. I did all the bodywork, my brother painted it, and another friend helped me with the engine. I did save a lot , comparing it to having to pay if I had not done any of the work .Its been pretty fun though!
