Does anybody know how much a original A14 head (oval intake ports but not GX) flows. I am also interested in what flow figures/results you have got out of your modified cylinderheads. I will try to get as good flow as possible with stock valves, because it

this is my flow rating for my head, its a A12gx head, stock valves etc, with bit of porting. give you some idea

Ports: - 39 x 31 mm biased Inlet, 31 x 28.5mm exhaust, Ports by Hiflow matched to GX gasket. flow benched.

Valves: IN: 35mm, EX 29mm Nissan

narh flow test after the job, the port job was only mild but done by a guru datto master Errol knows.

flow tests arnt common as far as i know, and neither is spending big money on porting

It's only common among racers (of certain types of racing) as far as I know. I don't know anyone here who's ever had heads flow-tested.

I thought that Feral had posted some flow information on his A13 engine ...

These are some flow figures i acquired from Mick Atholwood a couple of years ago.The head was an oval port A15.
Inlet valve 37 mm
Exh valve 33 mm
Chamber 26.5 cc
Figures are at 10" and CFM
Lift Inlet Exh
.100 35 25
.200 66 42
.300 78 53
.350 81 58
.400 83 60
.450 83 62
.500 84 63
He reckoned the Inlet at .450 was good for143 HP and at 500 was 144 HP.
Hope this is of some interest.
