i did this on some sunny struts instead of 180b!!

what I did Bart-
vn calipers, open the holes out slightly to suit the bigger datsun bolts.
u12 bluebird vented discs, I think 254mm dia. 20mm wide and about 1.5mm from memory removed from the mounting face to give correct offset
mount the struts on opposite sides so caliper is at front otherwise they limited steering lock too much

all this is from memory, did it years ago so details a bit hazy...

Has that disc over hub, or disc behind the hub morgan? (that bluey stuff aint worth much these days)

I had been led to believe that the only difference between trubo and no was the cooling fins. (dunno where I got that idea)
VL turbo's are rare as here. (Never seen one, but I met a bloke who reckoned he had one) So that might not be an easy opion after all...................

VL turbo and VL V8 use the same calipers as VN-VP V8 or 6 cyl with FE2 suspension
Also the same as all VR-VS regardless of engine

And no you can't use a VL caliper with a solid disc and expect the pads to stay in there long
When they get too thin they will flick out of the caliper

Yeah I didn't think solids would work. All the commodore sh1t is quite foriegn to me.

disc bolts to back of hub as original. also had to drill disc to bolt to hub, easy. I think I might have used 510 hubs now from memory, which are almost identical to 310 hubs except offset of disc mounting is different. So yeah check for yourself that it will work as I did it quite a while ago, dont want to put you crook.
I used new Lucas discs from Repco to suit u12 bluebird at a cost of about $30 ea.
