Dude there is a million colours out there to choose from. I'd rather you didn't go the same as mine. I have had the car for about 8 months. If the car was still for street I would have a manual.

Niz12 I see your car all the time. If you ever see a random guy in a white hilux waving it's me. Lol

2 5/16 backspace on a 4 inch rim. Scott set me up with a different ball joint to bring the wheel in a bit. You will need adjustable control arms and top hats. Speak to him about the kit tho. The brakes are awesome. Pulls up nice strait and quick.

If you are looking for a cool colour check out the new ford focus rs. The is a wild new green colour that would be different and look mint.

if i were you.. talk to a enginner and get him to email you all the requirments needed for conversion,

The max engine size (forced induction) that is permitted (By RTA regulations) to be fitted is 1825cc.

That said I would be very suprised if the 1200 ute chassis could be made suitable for a 1.8 litre turbo engine. The low rear axle weight means that pretty well regardless what you do to rear suspension there will be traction and hence stability issues.

If it could be done it would be very involved and expensive. I imagine the chassis will need stiffening, rear suspension axle location would need significant improvement. Front will require re rating of springs and dampers. The standard brakes would be far from satisfactory.

Depending on the year of the ute the testing required to demonstrate compliance would be substantial and expensive. And at the end of the day the answer might be that it is not satisfactory...

An A15 with a GX head and a simple brake upgrade would be a much easier mod.

Regards,

this is from a enginner him self
