I Have a A series " Crow " Cam which i got custom ground for a A series supercharger set up .. I never use it due to not finnishing the engine .. Let me Know if some one is after it ..
BTW ,, The easy way to drop the compression is to Use A15 engine with a A14 crankshaft .. Cheers Cam

this morning i woke to find a magazine my bro bought home for me which shows and gives info about a gold datsun 1200 ute with an a15 supercharged, it even says what suspension and brake upgrades he used and they are in no way extreme, i think this is the way im going to go when i build my engine.

Hey Kegs, what blower are you gonna use?
The easiest way to lower your comp is with a steel shim. On my a14 with a1.5 mm shim,
my cylinder head guy calculated the comp at 7.9:1. I think the shim was made by ACL,
but Ill have to double check( it was an off the shelf item anyway).

Bart

PS My blown a14 should hopefully be cranking soon.

With a single Hitachi carb, aren't you going to limit your horsepower to about 80 hp? I always thought that was the reason the A12, A14 and A15 all made around the same peak HP. Surely a bigger carb will give a supercharged engine more top end.

On the other hand, your low speed power should improve a lot. For example: 80hp at 3000 rpm, 4000rpm, and 5000rpm

It's up above:Quote:
I am using a blower of a toyota 2L V6 ... Presently the motor is only runny a standard hatachi carb with bigger jets.
But he was just running the Hitachi to break in the cam, etc before going to the next level. Sounds like a reasonable plan.
