yes all are 28 spline, and all interchangable with commo lsd etc. but stock lsd r31 are harder to get then normal open wheeler r31 diffs. if your willing to post a lsd one for 100 then thats cheap. mine is getting cut down atm by a diff place otherwise would of grabbed it :P

yes many in sydney
but not to many silhouettes (only ones that came with lsd)

It may have only been $300 thinking about it but yep i would be the first to say i paid quite a bit for it. It was the only one i could find at the time and had an engineer lined up to shorten and fit it to my ute :( Good prices on things are out there you just need the right timing.
I got a r31 silhouette LSD centered diff with brakes.
Paid a bit to much but i now know its better to not impolse by but sometimes is gotta be done.

$100 is a great price mate! Gotta love this site some times!

yeh $100 is a good price.. I paid $100 for a full car minus engine and box, stripped the parts i wanted and got $70 or so for the shell lol..

I shortened my housing myself and using falcon axles it owes me $300 all up.

out of interest,
how much hp can 1 of these handle?

all depends really, what the car is used for, driving style, transmission, drift, drag, street, circuit? My car is being built for drags and im fairly confident it will hold the power (450-500hp) if it breaks an axle ill get some 31 spline jobs made..

But if its a street car it will give you no troubles

the only problem with getting them from wreckers, is they usauly dont have crown wheels and pinions, i know pic-a-part, jollys and Imlacks (center RD) here in melb, pull out the C&P before the car hits the yard and just put the axels and centers in the boot.. but i think the going rate is $150 disc-disc.

CA_1200_project i think $350 is still good for what u got really, hey the whole r31 is worth less, but bolting a lsd diff in your datsun 1200 for under 600 bucks is good value i reckon.

Just wished there was something lighter as these things are still
heavier than a 9 inch with strange alloy carriers.

I prefer a H190 with alloy carrier but LSD for these are rare and
expensive compared to the Borgies. We cant have it all unfortunately.
