Im planning a blower setup for my a series at the moment.... im going to put it on a stock A12 and then my A15 when its built.

I've been told to put concave pistons in it (currently in bits) as the compression is high already due to headwork.

going attempt a blow through setup

Whats the best / easiest way to seal a carby with a box???

You have to fabricate the box & linkages, and make it all air tight. On a blow through, you also need a fuel pump with more pressure than your boost. There is a treasure trove of info/pics in the old threads,
take some time to search through it and a knowledgeable fellow you will become.

i have a carby box you could look at for ideas, i also have the right fuel pump (holley black, 14psi) but may be using it on a15ett yet

i dont think you need a box if boost is gonna be below 10psi

give me a call and ill tell ya how i think u should set it up, ive been busting for someone to do a blow through super and have put a fair bit of thought into it

Hey Matsuoka has metal head gaskets instead of shimmed stuff for you boost heads with A12's and A14's. They range from 0.5 mm to 2.0 mm thick. Price starts at 15,000 Yen and goes to ~17,000 Yen. If anyone needs one let me know or you can contact them yourself. Yumiko, the young lady that works there can read and speak English good enough to get the parts you want.

Air fuel ratio is based on mass not volume.
If it was on volume a stock 1200 would need 46cc of uel for each stroke or a litre every 21 revs

By the way 5313 litres per minute is not so huge. 5313 litres divided by 28 litres per cubic foot = 189.75 cfm cubic feeet per minute.

Instead of building a box to seal the carb on a blow through SC setup, would it be just as efficient to seal the inlet pipe from the supercharger onto the top of the carb?

What is the code for the toyota 2litre charger, one bigger than the 4agze? is it 1ggte?
