I use a Skyline with early landcruiser 4 spots. Late model Hilux 4 spots bolt up aswell. Are u looking for a vented disc setup or solid?? I have 10" vented honda disc's on my
coupe ( see pictures in "Strut/Capiper/rotors") Good combo i just need to use another master cylinder to push more fluid.

Yeah i'm after a vented setup. I've been told R31 skyline rotors bolt up, they're a 10 inch vented disc, and the hilux calipers are good i've been told. I was going through
old messages the other day and i came across one that said verada 11 inch rotors will bolt up with some maching to bolt a hub on.

Yeah i had a bit of a look into the verada 11" setup. I think u have to machine the disc's to suit stanza/200b/180b bearings and stub axle. Next problem is finding a good 4 spot to go
over 11". I would say u would have to use the 4 spots of a 300zx or similar. There was somebody in the club who has done it before (cant remeber your name but i met u at the Datnet
cruise and u live in Newcastle??). Could be worth investigating for sure!!

Scott,

I'm running Verada Discs.. with Commodore Calipers.. why you may ask.. spare parts availability is my answer. Commodores provide probably the cheapest parts in Australia. My 1200 brakes
work better than my 4wheel disc ABS N15 Pulsar.
I'd like to be running 4 spot calipers for the brag value..but I don't see that they will make that much difference. I may go to 4wheel discs on my 1200, but that'll just be because I'll
be replacing the diff for an LSD install. May as well do both at the same time.

ps. My rebuild is coming along. Engine is awaiting the pistons to arrive, The body is now rolling again, with steering temporarily installed to allow it to move about. And I'm assessing
the best way to install the clutch master cylinder. So far I've modified the pedal box, and clutch pedal to give some clearance for the clutch MastCyl piston. Hopefully I'll finish welding
in new pieces for the radiator support and intercooler support. Then the car can go off to be sandblasted. I'm excited again.

Can't wait to cruise.

I missed the Sydney Datsun Club meeting last night..Doh.

Chris.

0n the weekend was at a motorkhana and a guy there i was talking to had on his 1200, stanza struts and 240K disks and calipers. they are bigger than 200b 180b etc. All he said that
he had to do was drill out the top hole on the caliper to fit the bolt.
He said that he had no problems with it at all, does anyone know the size of the disks and the type of caliper they are (how many piston is it)
the disk is a solid disk but i would say it is a easy and worth while upgrade without going vented and toyota hilux calipers.

What did you have to do to fit the verada discs on? I'm interested. i can go 10 inch but 11's are better so better is good.

I'd appreciate it if you gave me an insight as to what you did to fit them on. my email is gimmehed@hotmail.com if you wanna
email me the details

I'll write up an FAQ/Instructions on how to do it.
Then I'll post it on my website.
