120Y - how does the base of the plastic front grille attach?

The top of the grille attaches no problems, there are half a dozen trim screws that go into nylon holders.

The bottom of the grille is loose, and there seem to be mounting holes in it, but there's nothing to mount it to. Has anyone got a picture of whatever-it-is under there that it's supposed to mount to? I obviously need to make one up, or get one from the wreckers.

On my 120y grilles there are little pins that just sit in holes on the car. I can have a better look tonight.

3 or 4 L brackets with rubber grommets I believe, I'll go take a picture.

As said before the three lower brackets ( flat steel with hole and plastic grommets in them ) only stablise lower section. All screw points are at top as you've found. Just check the grill around the headlight isn't catching on lights or guard edges

From where your up to- lean grill forward say 20degrees and pull up
