nah nigel was too lazy to even get over here had to do it all my self, even the wife had to bash him over the ears a few times hahaha....when welding more then 2mm steel gasless is crap, doesnt have the amps to weld properly, try a gas welder heaps better. Teh only thing done on my car is the engine bay and even that is dodgy but looks ok

is it sticking and holding the metal to the metal? if so job done good enough.

super glue also works in that respects....til it lets go hahaha

Did you have it on high? I welded 5mm steel for my tow hook with it, worked well.
