Hi all.

Here's a few photos of the unusual (cracked) inlet manifold I've got. I really want to keep the A12 motor because it's in excellent condition but it has this weird bolt pattern on the manifold which is different to 99% of the A12's found in Australia.

Has anyone else got an inlet manifold they don't want, that has this bolt pattern?

Also looking for a good Hitachi carby perhaps removed from a working motor (someone out there upgrading??)

That look like a normal A12 manifold from about 1979-up, so yes it would be different from 99% of the engines. All the 1200 and most/all 120Y engines would be different.

Can you get the manifold repaired? Plenty of places around that weld and machine aluminium.

What's the difference? I may be able to get one but shipping cost alone is AU$23

This has been a spoke in a set of cogs for me for 10 years..
Would prefer not to repair, welds never work as well as another one and I just know there is another one out there, sitting on a disused A12 that someone has otherwise removed from a datto to drop in a CA18 or A15 or something else.. come on guys there must be SOMEONE out there.. $$$ waiting. Happy to pay up to $150 inc shipping for this one..

just drill and tap the centre stud and use an early manifold

looks like an A14 eco head and manifold to me. Same stud pattern as the A14 -15 but has the small ports. I think the spare manifold I had is long gone, I will double check though...

Thanks all, think I've found one now (whole motor) hope it's round and not oval.
Hope to hear that motor roar soon.
