A 300 kw 1200 is quicker than alot of people imagine. I know I have 335 kws and it still scares me

Yes fellas have to agree with you both. The power i have is in a Sunny sports sedan on 8" slicks, cage and all the goodies. It's taken me ages to get my head around how fast everything happens, even without any opposite lock on,and we won't even talk about the wet!(on treaded R spec yokys)At my weight of 900kg's and about $15000.00 with me doing all the work,i hope our friend has lots of cash, skill and wedding tackle to use it in a ute. With my humble H.P. i still manage to run at the pointy end most of the time.
The lesson here is no matter how much power you have,if you can't stop the thing or make it go around corners you may as well stick with an A series or a Hyundai and keep you money and license.

my mates sedan makes 215kw atw pretty much standard motor, it has a slight head port, tomei drop in cams and a ka24 throttle body, ran 11.7@120mph quarter, more than enough for a daily
im hoping for around the 200kw mark out of my ca
all it has is arp head studs, cometic metal head gasket, gt3037s turbo, it made 170kw atw on 15psi through my old auto, now with the manual ill pump it up to 20psi and see how it goes
i agree though its all in the tune
