ok update !

tonight i decided i needed to get some work done on my coupe ,so i sanded back the rear quarter and fine filled all the little air bubbles out

i think its pretty good ,not 100% but i still need to fine sand it,but at the moment ive only done it with 80 grit ,then i sprayed a thin layer of black spray piant over the top , it will stay sealed and when i need to get any little high spots out i can use the black as a marker to see where the low spots and are :D

tomorrow ill do the other side ,as the drivers side is done apart from the wheel arch ,which im not doing till i can lift the car up and take the wheels of to do :D

i also bogged a couple of little dents and stuff around the car which ill sand back tomorrow aswell
and ide like to thank brett and kat for having me on the weekend :D !!
pics tomorrow ,i would have them up tonight but i am too tired hhaa

haha good one nigel !

ok so tonight i did some more bog work on the passenger side rear quarter ,and it is done at the top but i need to fill some low spots at the bottom and then sand it back agian :D

its easy to get alot done if youi have a decent orbital ,but i have got one that holds the paper realy well but is gutless and wont cut fast enough ,then i have another sander that wont hold the paper for shiet but is awsome to cut back bog ,i was thinking of gluing a paice of velcro onto the good sander and then just use stick on pads ! but still nigels sander is the best ,feels so good and its easy to get the right shape !

and with the vacume hooked up it doesnt leave any mess !!!!

Do the sticky-on sand paper thing, you can buy aerosol spray adhesive if need be, works great.
Sorry I cant lend you my orbital cause I use it for work (and at nearly $900 without the dust extractor...Hmm :)

ok so i finished working at 11.30 tonight ,and i got the passenger side rear window area almost finished ,i ground back most of the welds ,and i bogged the patches aswell as smoothing them off nicely and painting the area in primer

then i pulled all the brake lines out of the front aswell as the master cylinder and i then sprayed some old brake fluid on the paint to soften it up ,cos it takes for ever to get off otherwise

next i started chipping away at the under body stuff in the wheel wells, and for once i can see new ,clean ,unrusted datsun steel ,and it looks awsome ,next i am goin to finish the drivers side sill ,then do my gaurds ,its mainly bog work atm ,but its still progress and once i get some money together ill buy white acrylic and then get ready to paint it inside and out :D

so im hoping to have it done this year but i dont think it will happen ,i still have heaps of work ahead of me ! and i need to sort my ute out aswell
pics tomorrow ,ive got batterys for the camera now ,so i can put some pics up !
