Kegs I take your point and I'm sorry for any ofence Have a read of the tech section on supercharging The set up I used was/is cheap Subaru Vivo blower $350 pulley and adaptar plate $150 Idid make my own inlet manifold But Iam sure it would work with a standard one and for a carby use a holley 320 so you can get out of the hole thing doing the work youself for under $900 Aud

I've had my fun with my set up and I'm going back to an early 1200 motor stock as even to the paint so you can buy my set up for $3500 and that will get you the engine as well

my suggestion is ditch the stock 1200 idea get it registered with 1200 but then make up all mounts and that to fit small block v8 in ur wagon bit, make removable top so u can work on it, make it so u can take the engine out real easily. then blacken ur windows and race ppl hahaha ull never lose.

Has any one used the low compression a14 oval port head, stamped h72.Will the fact that it has an open combustion chamber affect its performance when supercharging.

Maybe I did. I used an oval port head, and I think from memory it had the big chambers. I put it together before I found this site so I dont know what the h# was , but if I pull of the rocker cover Ill let you know.
If your wondering about the comp ratio, with a 1.5 mm head saver shim it was 7.9:1.

looking to find a way of getting comp down without using a15 /a14 crank and i rekon that will do the job nicely.
