Looks nice mate. Green / black isn't a bad combo. I've actually painted some black stripes on my bonnet as well after seeing yours to test out the look. Turned out well. With yours the only thing I would have done different is made the small vertical stripes on the front fenders line up with the side indicators.

Good job, takes work to produce that. I'm not a fan of the roof & trunk stripes but I kinda like the hood insets & fender wrap, reminds me of a mopar - Dart trunk stripe.

Yep, can see how its not everyones cup of tea. At the time I wanted something differant and the challenge, and thought that if I really did,nt like it I could change it as its only paint, but it dose grow on you. Thought I would like to try flames next but neighbours and mates are not that keen to let me loose on there cars...ha ha.
The amount of work that went into this was huge, alot more than I thought, prob went through six rolls of masking tape.I did a double mask with no clear, the front gards were done last and have come out the best with no diff in level from black the green.

Datunbeginner, lets see some pics of your car....are you happy with it??

Is anyone doing a two-tone paint scheme?

Hey Datsss here is how my stripes turned out...it was more of an experiment than anything as I've never painted a car before. I painted them with a foam brush and roller with extremely thin coats of $25 epoxy enamel..after I read a forum on how to do it. Not sure if I am going to keep them because I just spent $400 bucks on 2 pack to respray the whole ute the traditional way. Might respray the stripes on afterwards..and thinking of buying some jdm fender flares and painting them black as well to match?
