First time loss of license i relise how much it really sux getting your best mate 2 drive my car around.. :(
it has inspired me 2 get my anger out on the track and with 3months of i will have lost more $$$ saved up and will be exsperimenting new things on my ca18det including plenum chamber and trottle body and custom manifold.. i hate having no licence!!!!!!!!!

140 in a 60 zone huh? That's a number that is 233% of the posted speed limit.
Lost your licence too eh? You're lucky they didn't throw you in a cell for the night. I heard tell of someone pulling that kind of stunt in a town around here some years back. Several kids were hurt when they rode their bikes off the road to get out of his way. His car mysteriously burned to the ground in his driveway about a week later,... so they tell me.

All you big power boys are getting into trouble. You might now understand why buying a normal car is a good idea (reduces the "urges"), and keeping the speed off the road makes it so much more fun.
Being able to hang it sideways halfway down the main straight is much more fun. I've got all 12 of my points..(My CA 1200 rebuild is not finished yet) Chris Rally - HaNGING IT SideWays

just think of it as a break from driving.
and on the plus you no longer have to be the designated driver everytime you go out in the next 3 months with your mates you can get drunk and they can't get mad cos you can't legaly drive. it's a win win situation, plus you save money and can do things to your car.

it took me years ( including thousands of dollars in fines and some extended periods getting to know the public transport system ) to learn to buy a very slow road car...
I'd love to get on my high horse and preach about leaving the racing to the racetrack, but that would be the pot calling the kettle black now wouldnt it... We're all under 25 at some stage ![]() You can view topic.
