keep the standard motor in there mate, dont go trying to squeez that ca in just yet... u have alot to get before its going to fire up in your ute and be a reliable setup...

get all the wiring loom sorted all neat and tidy on the coupe and make it super easy to transplant it into your ute when u want to do the conversion.

Jordy and I can only tell ya so much mate... putting a ca in and registered is not a cheap excercise...

jusy keep driving the ute around as stock and then when u save some cash just do small bits at a time...

Bolted it in today ,doesnt feel right and the cons out weigh the pros so ill pull it out on monday

Realised it would need killer brakes ,hole in floor ,tailshaft ,cut out rad support

Doesnt matter ,needed to pull the a12 out to make room for my a15 (when I get it back)

So I might as well put the ca back in tje coupe seeing as its been chopped up to fit the ca

Thanks for the comments fellas your right ,a series ftw on the street

Good to see your sticking with the A series as there dont seem to be many modified A's around these days.

of course there is a cheaper way... look at all the ca builds on this site... not very many are a nice end result.... :) i am a practical perfectionist... I wont be selling my ute at all so the cost is irrelevant... what you have to ask yourself is what kind of car can a buy for x amount of $$$$ I could of bought a brand new hyundai why would i want to drive that?

I pay caaaash if u be a tight ass u will spend more time fixing and re-doing things... simple... do it right the first time... I believe in having a project car but it has to become a normal car again evntually not an ongoing problematic frankenstein car that u cosntantly have to fix and find parts for...
