just wondering if anyone can help me out,
im not getting any charge to the battery. ive recently had the alternator recond, and had it tested today to find its all good. got given a voltage regulator that was working and has made no difference

wondering if new voltage regulators can be bought and roughly how much, or is there something else i should look for?
thanks

Yes, you should look at the wiring.

If the regulator was "known to be a good one" and the alternator "tested good", then let not worry about them.

First check to see if full battery voltage is present at teh Alternator A terminal (large wire).

Then with IGN key ON, verify if 12V is getting to the T-connector on the alternator.

Note that if your CHG lamp is burned out it won't charge correctly.
