my ute all ready for WSID

i finally got my wheels widened so they suit my slicks so the ute is all ready to go! they are 24.5 x 8 x 15 they fit the car perfect the wheels were done by ozwheel in minchinbury peter and ted done an awesome job! im hopeing for a high 10 or 11 second pass! let me know what you think! should be taking it down the track in the next 3 weeks!

looks good mitcho
any flaring of the rear guards? and are you running leafs in the standard position?

i'd like to fit some big tyres to mine one day and a shorter diff ratio to see
if its possible to crack a high 12 n/a

Should easily run a high 10 with the power and slicks! Looks tough mate, what did the wheels cost to get done? Pm me if you don't wanna post it up. I got around 8 falcon steel wheels I wanna get the offset changed to suit my sedan

Will put some more pics up once the weather is better here in sydney!

yeh the guards are flared a fair bit and leafs are in standard position, the tyre is around 10mm off the spring and around the same distance off the guard, so it fits in nicely.

Im not sure what the offset is as i didnt ask peter but i can find out for you, and yes the 9" is cut down to standard length.

WARDY:

the wheels cost $185 each, he ordereds completely new outers for the wheels, it does not matter what size you want them he can get them, so there is no cutting and welding in sections in the middle of the wheel, he does an awesome job and as you can see by the photo his measurements and work quality is great!
