Wards,
What Lower ball joint did you use, and do you mind explaining a little more regarding the anti dive modification as |I see you have 3 mounting options on the front track rod mount position?

how refreshing it is to see someone is paying attention, the balljoint is a standard stanza unit at the moment but i will be going to a pulsar unit in a custom bilett housing that bolts to a standard LCA , the 3 adjustments alter the height of the front pivot of the LCA triangle, this can be used to control the amount of front "squat"under brakes and therefore front mechanical grip . hope this explaination is sufficent.Wards.

Yesterday I sourced a set of Nissan 1 Tonner/Patrol, Sani Lower Ball joints that I want to use, They have 4 mounting holes which will help allot with making a mount which I can weld to my LCA that will be made from pipe. Ideally I want to bend the mount +- 23degrees which in turn will mean that the ball joint is almost 100% straight when installed. The ball joint in its straight position leaves allot of space for a mount and clearance to the rotor.
Wards: I understand what you did with the mounting of the front track rod, just trying to get my head around it, trying to find a good explanation of it on the net.

Nice work wards !
Ok so your running a 1200 lca with a stanza ball joint ? Or stanza ball joint and stanza lca ?
As for castor rods ,will stocky ones work well or do they need to be adjustable items
Again nice work

the lca is a std b110 arm , swaybar is still being manufactured as the rate has not been determined yet ,but it will be a straight torsion bar from a sprintcar with blade adjusters on both ends, the std track rods are ok for the street but they have to be adjustable to achieve the front end geometry needed for circuit racing ,i wanted the ball joint front mount to reduce friction and to allow the arm to move smoothly through its arc without the risistance a rubber bush has, another side benifit is you can pull the wheel foward to gain caster and wheelbase , Racetech your on the right track with that balljoint but a bit heavy duty for my choice

Yes I do drag things on a bits Wards, procrastination coupled with kick minuscule wage does that to a man but half of the point of the thread is exploring options so thank you for enlightening me to your approach. I can't tell by the 2nd pic but that ball joint sounds interesting. edit: what I mean to say is obviosly since you're changing there is a problem with it but how is it at the moment with bump steer and binding?
Racetech I also like the Patrol one you've tried out as I aim to use this setup off road so the stronger the better, if I was going to run PRC regs I wouldn't have this thread at all
