a12 engine control fuse problem

hi everyone i have a problem with my datsun 1200 sedan i can start the car and it runs sweet as but after about 2 minutes of running it blows the engine management fuse and wont run right.
put a new one in and try again same thing.
what could be causing this problem any help is greatly appreciated.

its a different fuse block to the picture you have but it is the engine management fuse. it will run sweet with it in and run rough with it blown.
as soon as we try rev the car up it blows the fuse. otherwise it will idol fine.

None of the stock fuses are labeled 'engine'. Is it a custom job?

Yeah the 'engine management' thing throws me off. There isn't really any engine management unless you consider the dizzie and coil as part of it.

You got a picture of the fuse board?

it isnt a custom job it was in the car when brought ill get a picture up soon of it.
every time it blows the car idles real high and the alternator charge light comes on and the car misses.

With high revs + alternator light..

Sounds like voltage regulator or alternator issue.

Check the 2 large connectors that join the under dash loom with the engine bay loom. Look for corrosion or blackened connectors.
Clean them up with some wet/dry sanding paper first if they look dirty.

sweet will try that but that wouldnt explain why it blows the fuse when its reved up
