Thats exactly right chris we need to intervene on the failure that has occurred but it wont happen easily with a country expressing we r discriminatory for not letting them kill their way. These primitive countries dont need time we need to sponsor the changes for the animals sake not for our relation.

Quote"I’m pretty sure Halal is meant to be a peaceful and humanitarian way of killing the animal, it’s not a type of food it’s just how the animal is killed." Even one of the Goons referenced the Koran saying the animal must be killed with a single cut. So 10-30 cuts, stress and torture the animal is humanitarian?. As for Halal as seen on this doco, its complete BS and for Maccas and the other crap its just as Wurzel said its all about the $.

If you don't understand the primitive attitude towards animals and settle to call them beasts repeatedly then you have little knowledge or understanding of animal welfare. These gentle cattle should be the last animals to be called beasts, they are calm, show the intelligence of higher animals like dogs and wouldn't go out of their way to hurt a thing.

If you see the video of the one calling out as its repeatedly bashed and the narrator said its just like it was asking its tormentor "why?" - Another had its leg broken and then they broke its tail amongst heaps of beatings to get it to stand up and it obviously couldn't. If that doesn't move you then I don't think anything will.

It is the responsibility of us Aussies to make a difference and this industry has known about these conditions for over 10 years. Yes I say all Indonesians because they are responsible as much as we are and the stupidity to call out discrimination or anti-Muslim is simply retarded. The Aussie officials responsible did nothing for years and should be held responsible.

Even the cattle farmers have been screwed and robbed by these so called ethics experts.
Have you watched the video in its entirety? it clearly shows their deception and lies.

Ive been an animal activist for longer than you've been around Chris. 26 years! of arrests, avoided paying infringements for about that long. Ive spent more than a total of halve a year doing community and 6 days in the local cop station for not paying accumulated fines. My wife will never bail me out for not a cent will go to the powers that be for my actions. Ive had my butt dragged in front of cameras for simply wanting better justice for animals, their conditions and to help save our native Australian fauna. I hunt rabbit, foxes, goats, wild boar, cats and will always eat game/wild meat as
I know what goes into it. My wife and I give 10% of all our profit to different organisations like Wilderness society, Landcare Aust and various shelters that rehabilitate injured animals. That is only a smidgen of what we do or dedicate our time to. When we line up at the local Smarket, even at the local even my wife would ask "white" grannies if they tried the locally made toothpaste "Grants" instead of Colgate in their basket, which is 50% more expensive. Those type of Grannies are the ones who ruined it for us by supporting foreign and should be bashed! :)
Every part of our life is about supporting local Aussie products anyway we can.

Millions of starving people are indoctrinated into Christian or Catholic religions so they can one day each own a black Suv with 20 inch wheels, eat steak every night and spend all their family time in shopping malls. If you think the majority of boat people who pay for a boat fare can't afford to get on a plane you are truly mistaken. If I had it my way I'd build a dual purpose war ship to shoot down Jp whalers then turn it around north sink refugee boats and Indonesian fishing boats.

Hoping for violence against mankind does not make me as bad as them
for they have no kindness in their man or man in their kind.

If you want to make a difference its just an easy to do online petition

Ok, this has got ugly.
Boys a forum is great for everyone getting to sit back in their chair and throw around our opinions but it's going too far when it turns into personal insults.
Time for the white flag-

In closing-

Miks a nappy changing whore.
Andy's a rust lover with a dodgy (cross) member and
D's an animal loving tree hugger!

Let's start the day off well and drop this inflammatory subject and stick to constructive topics.

How about Tommos heated washer fluid? Brilliance I tell you!

Shocks me what I'm reading here. I've been away from the Datto community, and this site, for some time now (damn work and buying houses). Today I decide to logon (don't ask why, don't know myself) and I'm reading stuff like this. I have some pretty strong views on this subject which I won't express in full here, but to put it short while I hate animal cruelty I'm deadset against destroying a $300mil a year economy. I've got plenty of ideas as to how we can fix both, and have been voicing them across the right channels.

Aust banning live exports to Indon won't stop animal cruelty. Neither will sensationalist views and personal insults on a Datto community forum fix the problem.

Play nice now fellas...

I think it's good that people take action against what they are passionate about, indeed, otherwise we would be a society of "sheeple", where passive acceptance becomes tolerance.

pick a topic, your position and stand up for it I say..

my personal one is cars... I love building them but hate driving them around Sydney... I commute in rain, hail or shine by bicycle... but I still enjoy cars and consider them my hobby and passion... yeah strange I know.

I also hate this treatment of animals and hope that these practices get stamped out.

will I support a meat ban to Indonesia? No way... there are too many farmers who will suffer.

it's an extremely sensitive issue.. I deal with ethics committees for animal welfare and teh various govt departments that regulate their operation so have a bit of working knowledge about what things get considered.

They need some sort of accreditation and regulation of the industry... where non compliance will result in BIG fines and hurt them in the back pocket.

I dont think it's an issue that should ruin the dynamic of a car forum though.. you can agree to disagree.

Cheers

Ed
