Finally i can give some progress again.

Had some help from a guy at work, he fabricated a turbo outlet and a battery tray for me, pics to come

had an engineer come round and check it out, got a short list of things to get it legit;
-swap engine x-member to other one i have which is much better
-change gearbox x-member from maddat style one becuase bolts through floor not ok
-7/8th master cylinder for brakes
-extra strength for front seat front mounts (casuse aftermarket seats)
-cat/charcoal and oxy sensor

otherwise all good with brakes/struts, h190, intercooler etc

so pretty happy that i will be able to engineer as soon as i get it going really

going to do gearbox like an old picture pigdog posted with cups welded to the floor which retain captive nuts (other option is to bolt to chassis rails)

Chassis gearbox mounts allowed are surely welded not drilled on ones?

unfam can you show me a link to a photo? couldn't find it in your build thread. using Sanjay. chassis mount for gearbox was suggested to be bolted through horizontally - i prefer the other option

So is any strengthening of the radiator support panel required....as yours seems to be cut exactly the same as mine and Sanjay specified inch x inch rhs uprights be installed where the rad support had been cut.

yay some solid progress yesterday, brother came around with welder to help me get some jobs done

battery mounted in boot very nicely
temporary connection from 3 inch dump to the old 2 inch system to get it up and running
filled in and strengthen some rad support areas, allowing me to get onto mounting of intercooler and radiator

have taken all dimensions to get a clutch hose made to complete that, and get a tailshaft made to complete that...

whats left

minimal wiring (from battery to starter and power wires to ecu/loom etc and wiring of fuel pump and thermos)
mount intercooler and radiator and plumb them up
put dash and seats back in
plumb oil and water lines to turbo
airbox (prob do similar to tomoz)
sort out a shifter
hmmm... a bunch of little things....but not a great deal more than that
