Maybe if its a round port its for a 1000, no strut to hit there.

He has the carb and manifold. I still have no idea how it could be hitting the strut tower, since the 1200 SSS's had a huge airbox and still had a bit of room. Dunno how long the SSS manifold was, at least 100mm.

The SSS has a stout manifold just like the one pictured previously (measured against the bprojects one)and the air-box is slimmer than a L-series SSS one, so that's why they had clearance as everything was slim.
