YEs thats it but cant find the bore and stroke for the
smaller ones eg. 1.8 and 2 litres. The 2.2 has the 89mm
bores which is nice but 88mm crank is a big stoke that
could do with the 1.8 stroke which I think is 76mm??

Long stroke = better torque. torque is your friend

absolutely but 2 litre is the limit for a 1000 unfortunately
