Ok ive been fairly busy so an update is comin up got some more fancy stuff for my motor so pretty stoked !

Plus I get my motor back on saturday and im going to put the bottom end together on the weekend

Ok ,been pretty slack with updates

Bottom end

Block painted
Rings fitted ,and gaps checked
Bearings fitted and plastigauged
Crank end play checked
Rod side clearances checked
Deck heights rechecked
Cam and followers in
Cam dialed in
Mains torqued up
Bigends torqued up
New imas timing chain fitted
Rocker cover painted
New manifold bolted to carbs
All Phillips screws on carbs replaced for some trendy stainless Allen key bolts
All engine bay bolts replaced and fitted with countersunk Allen heads with red anodised washers
Tacho fitted to column
Crane ignition box fitted to the dash (covers up old choke and foggy socket holes )
Dizzy rebuilt and painted
Water pump has been fitted with The fancy Allen key bolts too
Oil pump has been polished
Braided lines are done on carbs ,no more #OOPS#ty hose clamps
Flwheel skimmed
Head rebuilt and new guides and valves fitted
Big lift springs fitted and pressures set
3 angle valve job

I need to

Torque the head down
Put pushrods in
Put dizzy in
Buy a sump that's not forked
Fit bottom end gaskets
Get new extractors ceramic coated in polished
Bolt manifolds on
Wait till its 1 in the morning ,and start the motor
At 1.01am run cam in straight of the extractors hehe

Then it will need to be run in and tuned

Will be putting an early a12 in my ute till I finish my good motor and so I can Goo to toojay :D

Does anyone look at this stuff ? Is it worth putting pics up ? Just don't wanna spend a heap of time uploading them if I'm the only one looking at them hahaha

Ernie has pretty much built this thing over The phone ,I wouldnt of been able to dial thecam in or check most of the clearances if it wasn't for you !

When I get a chance tonight ill get some up ,gotta sort mikes early a12 out first ,once the clutch is on that and the box is on ill do a comp test and put it in the back of dads ute for tomorrow

It's pretty sexy lookin little motor ,I'm buying new bolts today for the timing cover ,sump .water pump ,oil and fuel pump

Buying zinc coated cos they look good Haha
