sorry about the lack of updates(kid sick then myself)
motor is now finished(might have gone over the top with detailing).
rebuilt alternator(only one new bearing, new brushes)
dissy is just for pics
still wait on cam welsch plug(given the wrong one three times).
started to repair the wiring harness, most of the engine bay loom was saturated with oil.......sick and cleaning oil from in wiring harness- heaven(not)

yeah i have just done the same thing with mine...then retaped it and conduit now looks great
