Decided to risk getting the A14 in before the cruise. Cheated and used the hoist in the workshop after work tonight. Makes things a bit easier!

Otomoto coilover kit rocked up today so provided I can get the engine back in I should be able to get my struts sorted and hopefully convince my 17's that they fit on the front!

Gunna be pushing to get it back on the road before next weekend...

You got more done than I did tonight! Made two brackets that didn't fit..... Always the fiddly things. Thanks for the struts.

I'm also interested to see how you go fitting the coilovers...although if I fit some up I'll wait till after the engineer signs off.

How much were the halo lights?

P.S. I reckon you need to fit a higher profile rear tyre to fill it out a bit more.

Mik- ???? I'm big and can lift heavy things. Puzzles aren't my strong point!!

Dylan- no dramas mate. I hope they're useful for you. Good luck with the throttle body plans, sounds like it should be pretty awesome once done.

Rob- when you're 6'8" the hoist is awesome just to have the car elevated to work under the bonnet, saves my back a bit!

Andrew- the halo lights were bloody cheap! About $60 delivered from USA. With the tyres, you might be right but see how it comes up once i put the coilovers in and play with ride height a bit. Once they're up in the guards they won't look too small!

Getting there. Not gnnna be pretty (not painted or even cleaned!) but going for function over form! I can clean it all up later.
Should hopefully finish by tomorrow night. Then off to exhaust shop to get new exhaust. Probably go for 2.5" I guess. Extractors finish at 2.25".

2 or 2.25 is way big enough for a 14. 2 inch is enough. 2.5 going to be noisy. I SAID IT WILL BE LOUD O K?
