Well, tonight I'm resigned to the fact that the 17's aren't going on pre-cruise. I got one strut finished and went to put disc on and found that Repco had given me the wrong wheel bearing seal. It was the straw that broke the camels back! I'm working 8 till 6 tomorrow so no time to go and get the parts. Ah well, wonky wheels it is!
This is the finished strut-

So off to the cruise I'll limp. Non flicking indicators, non idling, no heater, noisy tranny (cluster shaft bearings), dented door and generally looking rough as guts! Can somea trailer as I'm not feeling confident! I'll say one thing though, man it goes good with the A14 in it! I need an LSD now!

Oh yeah, I got the upside down coilover sleeve off without too much pain/damage as you can see in one of the shots. Took some getting off though!

I've got a tow bar on mine, but I'd dare say you would be in a similar boat in mine

No heater, no stereo, and an eye watching the temp gauge

We'll have to drive close enough to each other that you can hear my stereo and we can use each others over heating engines to warm the cabins!

Had half a day off today so finished off re-making my dicky strut and mounted them up. Ended up being far from the straight forward job I thought it would be!
Still not finished, I can only turn the wheel about 10 degrees before scrubbing! I need to do the usual guard cutting at the front and the wheel well belting at the firewall. Still some work to do but getting there.

Nice, Thad a lot of tools! Why not use axle stands. Not great way on rims.

With the 180 b struts do you have to mount caliper at rear like stanza. Otherwise they hit on castor rods and pull on hoses a little. Cut those guards and the floor(less foot room for you lol) and drive that biatch. They are going to love you in coburg in that ride
