Yeah I've had bolt on spacers on a 1200 and tramlining on Melbourne roads was terrible due to the established grooves in the road modern cars leave. The front track wanders on the edges if these grooves and the car is always tracking all over the place. I'm sure if front and rear tracks were same width this would be minimized

Bump steer is when the toe changes solely due to vertical movement of the suspension i.e. over a bump, without the turning of the steering wheel.

Sure there will be a better description out there somewhere..
