I have always said to the young fella's that I have had under my wing over the years. build it once and do it properly.

Drsw yourself a plan of what it is exactly that you want from the vehicle. Do you want...

A/ A reasonably stock cruiser to potter around in and go cruising with utter reliability?

B/ A highly modified pig that will eventually annoy you, be unpredictable and go out of tune easily?

C/ A ball out powerhouse that frys the tyres and is dangerous (albeit fun) and that you will be scared to drive in the wet?

Get an idea of what you actually want from the car, draw up a plan and stick to it. It is when the plan evolves that the car will usually end up an unfinished project if you can't settle on what it is that you desire from the vehicle.

i would like to have a bit of point A and a bit of point B....bit more power than stock but nothing over the top. has to sound good - not tacky like i'm sum bogan from west sydney.ok i am a bogan at heart but who isnt?!!

m definately considering the a12 block with a better head and if i can eventually afford it when the time comes, some sidedraft webers would be nice!! of which then only I would be allowed to drive it!!

Luke will have to wait....by the time the bloody car is finished our duaghter will prob b driving!!!
