hey ive just brought a datsun 1000 ute 1967 model....was just wondering if it is realy a prototype or was the bloke just #OOPS#ting me ?????

The 1000 ute wasn't a prototype, companies hardly ever release prototypes especially back in those days.

What makes him think it was a prototype when it was just a conventional utility model? And did you pay extra for the special prototype?

I have never heard on a 1967 B20 ute. They all have the later grill, dash, sun visors and other features (including 4 speed gearbox).

What makes you think it is 1967 model other than the seller telling you so?
