So now all you really need to do is concentrate on getting it engineered. Who are you going to use?

As previously mentioned im using Sanjay, he gave me a small list of things to do from initial inspection and i was quite happy with that (hard to understand why others experience was so different)

took some pics today, got it going again after having a new engine cross member made and puting that in, upgraded my lift pump and changed the surge tank to have a breather on the top, also cleaned out the inlet system of oil due to the PCV problem i had.

Going good, still not humming 100%, seems to be an issue with blow off valve

anyway enjoy pics, im stoked she's running again:

order of things to come:

-get gearbox crossmember made by someone with a hoist
-get new exhaust with cat
-build topgear LSD into diff
-install swaybar, carbon canister and bigger brake master

Good work mick. LOVE the colour and look of this thing. I agree with you in regards to dealings with sunjay. I have found him good so far and even a little compramising with a couple of things.

Will you be out for the cruise on the 27th.

I can already see a pic of both cars, same colour parked up on a cruise

then get it signed off, and the real stuff can go on, like exhaust, wheels and still being legit

i never had issues with same engineer either. very fair and resonable, but then again, mine wasnt turbo or petrol.

well i had oil problems again, but on friday night i installed a catch can, removed the BOV and put a new air filter on.

no evidence of problem anymore, and its going awesome (think bov was leaking) had a couple of days of good driving including to healsville today to do that road we have cruised on a few times

so im very happy now, time to start knocking off all the bits for engineering

my club is doing a hillclimb christmas break up day at haunted hills on dec 10th so getting the car ready to have a crack at that........gonna be wicked.....will have to setup some vid cams
