I'm after an EGR valve (either separate or as part of an inlet manifold). I really need one to get my ute registered, so if you think you can help please PM me.

Here's what I need:

Just the valve? You can get it from many Datsun vehicles, maybe even other brands of cars.

Or also the thing it bolts to? It doesn't bolt directly to the manifold.

I would prefer as part of a manifold so that i can get the temperature vacuum switch also. Are the valves the same as the a12 on other datsuns?

The valves are all the same size, such as Datsun Bluebird etc. The flow characteristics are different each year but they will bolt on I believe.

All later A12 & A14 manifolds have the EGR cast boss on the manifold, but the passages are not drilled in most cases. So the EGR Body won't actually bolt on.

Here's another piccy from a JDM Sunny B310 looks like:

And here's a USA version showing where stuff goes:

Yeah, I've been talking to Scott at maddat and he reckons if I get the valve then he can drill it in the the manifold and plumb it in the the extractors. So all I need is the valve and the switch, but if I get a whole setup I might replace some of the stuff I have

I got a whole set up i was going to use in my ute. If you were still in Canberra i couldve lent it to you. I'll call you on Saturday when i get to the garage. Might be able to work something out. Thought you said it was easier to register in Adelaide.
