Hey, I have a 1200 ute. I just bought a new A12 from a guy who had it in his 1200 4 door with an auto trans. He told me the motor was from a 120y. I cant seem to mount my flywheel to the crank shaft. I have done some research and it is telling me to remove a spacer from the crankshaft with a hammer, that seems easy but im not sure about this bearing it says to install.
Any help would be greatly appreciated as I need this car to get to work. Thanks

good question.u talking bout the spigot bearing? its a little copper/brass bush that sits in the center of the crankshaft where the spine on your gearbox goes into.my best explanation had a few today.i think thats waht you mean.

can you take a photo?

have you removed the spacer?

the bearing is just a little brass bush which can be tapped in with a hammer, you will need to buy it, it locates the end of the input shaft from the gearbox

you say you cannot mount the flywheel.. why? the bolts do not line up (there is only one way they will line up, you need to keep rotating till you find it) or you cant sit it in place or what???

be careful to use manual flywheel bolts as they are different length, and use a locking compound to ensure they don't come loose

you will also need to align the clutch plate before attempting to put the gearbox on
